I pretty like the instant searched !
    and the easy UI.

It would be great if you add an online storage.

Personally we do use online backup services, in order to back up our scanned documents along with other important data on our computers.
http://mozy.com offer an easy to use and affordable online backup (~$5/Month for unlimited storage). JungleDisk, Carbonite, Genie-Backup and other services – all seem good as well.
42Tags, together with one of these services – offer a complete solution for SOHO document management challenges. We highly recommend backing up your scanned documents, along with all of your important data.

I have three features I am looking for in the perfect document management software:

    tags (you do this already)

visual browsing with a virtual desk I can move files around, sort of like picasa but for documents.

Full OCR searching like Onenote 2007, so I can search for words in any scanned file or imported images.

Also, I have a 2560×1600 30″ screen and not having the option to view scanned documents “two-up” like in Adobe Reader is disappointing.

Finally, I’d also like to be able to zoom in and out with CTRL + Mousewheel.

    Hello Adam,

I would like to refer to your comments:

    1) Visual browsing – In 42Tags you can do it by going to the search tab. On the bottom right you can see two small buttons – one for a detailed view and the other one for visual browsing.

    2) FullOCR – this would probably cause us to pay royalties to a 3rd party solution, which will increase the price of our application. We are not happy to do that, but it is an option.

    3) 30″ screens are yet not so common but we will add this to the requested features list.

    4) Zoom by CTRL + Mousewheel: thanks to your comment – we’ve decided to push this on our next version (within a week)!

    Thanks for your feedback,

    Shimon,
    42Tags.
