About us

'42Tags' was designed and developed by Shimon Sofer and Eitan Burcat, both are avid software developers from Tel Aviv, Israel.

Shimon has a vast experience in design and implementation of large scale systems in the fields of computer vision, forms processing, document management and network protocols.

Shimon's moto is simplifying the user experience and develop a simple and robust software. Quality should never be compromised.

Eitan is an experienced application developer, enthusiastic about anything related to organization and productivity.

As an environmental activist - helping people get organized, and go paperless - well suites Eitan's vision and goals.

We have started '42Tags' because we didn't find any good solution for the annoying problem of moving paper documents into a digital format in an easy and intutive way. And we searched a lot!

We have tried to give a solution which is:

1. Simple to understand and use without any redundant features...

2. Robust. Without robustness any solution is useless.

3. Comprehensive. We don't want you to use other software to complete the tasks.

We beleive we succeeded bringing that solution using "Tags" which are very natural to humans. It is similar to the association mechansim which help us to remember things. Our major message is "We had the same problem as you have. Now we have solved it!". We have decided to give you a long fully featured trial period (42 days) because we are confident in the quality of our product.
